Peter Amos
- Royal West of England Academy Fellow Chartered Society of Designers -
graduated from the West of England College of Art having been taught by Louis Ward, Richard Taylor, Robert Hurdle and Paul Feiler – all Royal West of England Academicians and where he too would soon be elected. He has now exhibited there for more than fifty years.
He exhibits widely: at the new English Art Club winning the Kleinwwort Benson Award as chosen by the London Art Critics Group; and the Watercolour Award at the Royal West of England Academy. He is represented in the collections of the RWA, the Arts Club London and numerous private collections.
He is an active member of the Sussex Watercolour Society and the Society of Sussex Painters finding inspiration in the swathe of landscape, seascape and townscape from Saltdean to Worthing: The Royal Pavilion.Brighton, Shoreham Harbour and the village of Ditchling.
