I am a Hove based artist , just amazed by all the beauty that surrounds us and feel compelled to explore it further through my love of painting.
I switch between mediums and often use anything to hand to experiment but I particularly love watercolour and find it much more versatile than other mediums. I sketch and take photos on my travels round Brighton and the beautiful South Downs , but in my paintings I try to combine my love of working loosely, allowing the paint to surprise me, with my rather annoying need for some order.
I draw and paint because it is a huge part of me and always has been. I have studied at Brighton Art college and Worthing and have been exhibiting locally for several years.
