I am so passionate about watercolours and it’s translucent nature. It has been with me on and off since my adolescence. There were times I felt the nature of this fascinating pigments are far more elusive than my perceptions and I walked away from it. But the magnetic energy and a strong sense of affinity, I kept coming back. These days I am finding my way to portray an atmospheric language.
The process of painting is very meditative to me.I become the part of it, merge with it and the subject in front of me or around me. I tempt to follow an emotion lurking in my mind or an obscure feeling that may evoke a memory. The joy and and satisfaction I feel during the act of painting is indescribably deep and profound. Watercolour is such a mesmerising riddle! To me, it is still a labyrinth, wild, untamed, intricate yet fluid like an Ocean!
