Notes
When the city life becomes hectic and noisy, I often escape to this peaceful part of Hassocks to embrace the silence. Composition of this painting is from my trip to this village in last year with my sketchbook . I tried to capture the fresh moments of the spring . There was still nip in the air and the aroma of new sprouts. Sheep grazing freely behind the fence under a dramatic sky.To me, the whispers of the wind, song of birds and constantly changing light are a strong reminder of impermanence. There is nothing comparable when you are out in the nature, don’t you think?
